James “Jimmy” Mattina

Broker of Record

Jimmy has exceled in the sale and leasing of real estate since 2015, closing several hundred transactions, and being a top 1% producer in New Jersey for three years running. With a strong sense of market conditions and an ardent negotiator, Jimmy takes immense pride in navigating clients through what is typically the most important transaction of their lifetime. His real estate journey started as a salesperson for Coldwell Banker. Within a short period of time, he advanced to their New Homes Division where he specialized in the pre-construction sale of rental and for-sale communities. This experience, most notably handling inventory at scale and engaging directly with the builder community, led him to AST Realty, where he proudly holds the title of broker of record. After spending most of his life in Madison, NJ, Jimmy now owns a townhouse in Nutley, NJ with his fiancé, Aundrea. A graduate of Kean University, Jimmy was a standout athlete on the program’s football team during his tenure.

RJ cut his teeth in the industry as an integral member of AST’s asset and property management team with experience across various asset classes. Spearheading capital improvement projects, vendor management and procurement, quality control, and staff management, RJ’s communication and negotiation skills have been honed working in a high-pressure environment where execution were paramount. His eclectic knowledge of real estate provides a strong and reliable foundation to his clients. RJ is a native of the Jersey Shore, where he calls Belmar home with his fiancé, Amanda.

Dara graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators) with a B.S. in Building Construction. Her career path took a slight deviation, when she joined the cosmetic chemical industry, where she exceled in sales and relationship building with chemists and business development teams at industry giants Estee Lauder, Burt’s Bee’s, and Johnson & Johnson — to name a few. Happy to now be back on the construction and real estate path, Dara passed her real estate exam at 36 weeks pregnant. A Bergen County girl at heart, Dara now resides in Wall, NJ with her husband, Shane, and two boys, Ayden and Dominic.

Kyle Bota

Kyle began his real estate career in 2016 working as an intern for the nation’s largest full-service residential real estate company, Anywhere Real Estate (formerly Realogy). After earning two bachelor degrees from Montclair State University in economics and history, he spent the next five years working on the corporate side of real estate supporting thousands of agents across the country. In 2021, Kyle transitioned into a sales role accepting a position as leasing consultant with Coldwell Banker New Homes. In his first full year as a Realtor, Kyle closed well over 100 transactions. Now as member of the AST Realty team, Kyle is responsible for AST’s 335 rental portfolio in Rahway, NJ, while remaining active in the central and northern New Jersey residential real estate market. Originally from Parsippany, Kyle currently owns a home in Union with his girlfriend Erica and their dog Otis.

A veteran of the electrical supply industry, Michael has found quick success as a Realtor by way of his relationships with local trades and builders. Focused on the greater Morris County market, Michael resides in Florham Park with his wife Diana.

Ryan graduated with a business degree from the University of Connecticut. After college he worked for a number of start-up companies in the software industry as a sales representative and eventually sales manager. Ryan prides himself on his excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and has an expertise in identifying and capturing new market opportunities. He attained his real estate license in February of 2023 and couldn’t be more excited to start a new career path in the real estate space. A Jersey boy through and through, Ryan currently lives in Weehawken with his wife Jordan.
